About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Pave Bank, the world’s first programmable business bank. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our digital banking platforms through thorough manual testing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own end-to-end manual testing of online banking and fintech platforms
- →Design and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- →Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile banking applications
- →Validate core banking workflows such as user onboarding, payments, transfers, and transaction processing
- →Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman
- →Verify data integrity across frontend and backend
- →Test integrations with third-party services including payment gateways and identity providers
- →Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (AML, KYC, GDPR)
- →Perform security-aware testing with focus on authorization, authentication, and role-based access
- →Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
- →Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- →Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience in manual QA, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services
- ✓Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ✓Hands-on experience testing financial systems and transaction-based applications
- ✓Solid knowledge of banking and payment concepts, REST APIs, and HTTP protocols
- ✓Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail or similar)
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent documentation and communication skills
- ✓High attention to detail and risk-based testing mindset
