About the Role

We are seeking a sales-oriented Staff Data Scientist to join Pearl Health, a healthcare innovation company focused on empowering primary care providers. This role requires leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and communicating technical insights to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

→Engage with sales leads as a human explicability layer, ensuring complex underwriting results are communicated clearly
→Validate and maintain data pipelines and collateral between Data Science and growth teams
→Refine the competitiveness of value-based care contracts by providing strategic guidance
→Ensure quality and availability of various data sources
→Design and engineer analytics tooling to stress-test underwriting outputs
→Deepen knowledge of healthcare models and industry trends
→Evaluate vendors and technologies to better understand customers and the market

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis in healthcare management or consulting
✓Degree in statistics, applied math, computer science, engineering, or related field
✓SQL expertise and strong foundation in data science programming languages (Python preferred)
✓Eloquent communicator with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences
✓Proven ability to apply research and analytic models to inform growth operations
