Senior Software Engineer, Protect (Contract Position) at Pindropsecurity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join Pindrop, a company redefining trust in the digital age through voice and video authentication technologies. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance, cloud-native services and APIs, working at the intersection of backend engineering and ML operations.

Key Responsibilities

• →Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor high-performance backend services and APIs
• →Build and productionize backend services primarily in Golang
• →Work with Python-based ML and ML operations workflows, including model integration and inference support
• →Collaborate closely with ML engineers and research teams to take models from experimentation to production
• →Develop and maintain services using AWS (Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3) and GCP native services
• →Deliver production-ready features end-to-end with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security
• →Diagnose and resolve production issues using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Google Logging, and Cloud Trace
• →Review code to uphold quality standards and promote best practices
• →Contribute to evolving backend and ML platform architecture
• →Participate in on-call rotation, including required night and weekend coverage
