Today, our market (upper mid-market & enterprise companies, from 500 employees to fortune 500 companies) is vastly underserved when it comes to their procurement processes. These companies struggle with outdated and old fashioned tools, dragged down by decades of tech legacy that create more problems than they solve in the day-to-day work of their employees.
Pivot [Upgrade to PRO to see link] is solving this by building an AI Operating System for Procurement. Our goal is to streamline purchase processes for employees while giving finance teams the right level of control, visibility, and reporting. Through automations, integrations, and AI, we simplify workflows across finance teams, freeing them up to focus on more strategic work.
The journey started mid-2023 with Marc-Antoine, Romain, and Estelle, former C-levels & tech lead from fintech unicorns (Qonto, Swile, Highland).
Since then, we have raised 2 funding rounds (β¬5M pre-seed and β¬20M Series A) with tier-1 investors, built a team of 65+ people, and grown to 100+ customers across 25+ countries (EMEA and US).
We are now preparing our next acceleration phase, and are looking for smart, execution-driven people with a strong focus on excellence and a desire to scale as a team.
YOUR ROLE:
Help building the whole product and the underlying tech, hand-in-hand with a team of ~25 senior engineers.
- Develop and share a strong understanding of procurement and Source-to-Pay processes in enterprise companies, both within your team and across engineering.
- Help with the architecture decisions to ensure we build a robust and scalable product while maintaining a great pace of delivery.
- Lead an engineering squad of 5 and help them grow.
- Help build and scale the product, the team, and the underlying tech while ensuring good practices.
- Conceive and implement complex features like a dynamic form builder, workflows engine, budget, and analytics.
- Contribute to the team continuous improvement with new ideas, processes and tools.
- Leverage AI to boost productivity & developer experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
- You have 8+ years of experience in software engineering and have developed strong programming skills (e.g. Java Spring Boot, or Kotlin / Scala / C# / Ruby / Go / Python).
- You are fluent in English - it is our business language.
- You are proactive, able to prioritize, and willing to thrive in our rapidly growing startup environment.
- You pay close attention to details, are an excellent listener, and a valuable team member.
- You understand backend systems (database, authentication, API & 3rd-party integrations, security, performance) and have experience in both micro-services architectures and queue management systems
- You are rigorous about best practices (e.g. technical design, testing, code reviews,
documentation & maintenance).
- You embrace AI tooling (e.g. Claude, Cursor, Copilot) as part of your daily workflow and continuously explore how to integrate it into your engineering practice to boost productivity and quality
