About the Role
The Developer, Project Development, will be involved in site diligence and project development efforts in Colorado and South Carolina. This role focuses on supporting ongoing site development, assessing solar sites for critical issues, and creating land lease amendments with landowners for solar development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Meet with landowners, manage lease terms, and amend leases for solar development
- →Manage and lead the creation and submission of permitting documents for energy/industrial facility development
- →Organize and maintain files, budgets, and project records using Pivot’s internal processes
- →Manage third-party consultants and contractors to complete required diligence items
- →Attend community events to discuss solar with stakeholders
- →Complete title curative items for project finance requirements
- →Evaluate the viability of sites through site visits and desktop diligence review
- →Travel up to 25% of the time
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 3+ years of experience in renewable energy development
- ✓Excellent communication and public relations skills
- ✓Comfort speaking in public while presenting project concepts
- ✓Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to sites
- ✓Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, and ARC GIS
