About the Role
Pixaera is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build core services for our platform that improves safety readiness for frontline workers in high-risk industries. You'll work on APIs, identity and authorization, content and training workflows, telemetry, and enterprise integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement secure, observable, and resilient backend services in Go
- →Own API architecture (REST/gRPC) with focus on resource-oriented design patterns
- →Build on platform foundations including multi-tenant data modeling, identity and authorization, learning lifecycle services, and event-driven telemetry
- →Integrate with customer ecosystems using SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, LMS/LXP, webhooks, and APIs
- →Partner with Platform/Infra teams on deployment patterns, reliability, and performance improvements
- →Lead by example through high-quality code, pragmatic architecture decisions, and mentoring
Requirements
- ✓Strong Go (Golang) experience building production backend systems
- ✓Proven ability to design scalable distributed services with data modeling and API design
- ✓Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and performance tuning
- ✓Comfort with cloud-native environments (containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infra-as-code)
- ✓Solid understanding of security fundamentals and enterprise expectations
- ✓Collaborative, product-aware mindset focused on real users
