About the Role
Playlab is hiring its first dedicated Product Manager to shape how educators and students build with AI. This hands-on role involves translating strategic pillars into shipped products while refining strategy based on user feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the product roadmap and prioritize features
- →De-risk builds by breaking work into meaningful increments
- →Make tradeoffs between scope, timeline, and resources
- →Write detailed requirements that align design, engineering, and go-to-market teams
- →Engage directly with users to gather feedback and insights
- →Establish product development rituals and communication patterns
- →Collaborate with Learning and Partnerships teams to translate field feedback
- →Pressure-test strategic assumptions against product data and user feedback
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of product management experience, including early-stage or high-growth environments
- ✓Experience leading product development for AI-powered or technically complex products
- ✓Ability to work fluently with ML and engineering teams
- ✓Comfort with ambiguity and decision-making with incomplete information
- ✓Strong communication skills to explain complex tradeoffs to diverse audiences
- ✓Passion for education, equity, or mission-driven work
