About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Employee Spend & Mobile Segment at Pleo. This role places you at the forefront of advancing our technical excellence and innovation, working closely with Product Managers and Designers to lead mobile app initiatives and end-user features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with Product Manager and Designer to set a vision and direction for the team
- →Directly manage Engineers and Tech Lead
- →Drive a customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset
- →Continuously improve the environment and processes for building our product
- →Align technology direction within your team(s) and with other teams
- →Represent engineering in key initiatives and projects
- →Contribute to goal setting and maintain high standards in people, delivery, and execution
Requirements
- ✓Strong background with Mobile Application Development, including hybrid React Native, iOS, and Android Native applications
- ✓Comfortable stepping into technical discussions and stakeholder meetings to remove roadblocks
- ✓Passion for people management and team growth
- ✓Previous experience managing teams
- ✓Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- ✓Strong communicator with technical and commercial stakeholders
- ✓Technologist at heart with experience working closely with stakeholders across the business
- ✓Bonus: hands-on experience with Domain Driven Design and/or Event Driven Architecture
