About the Role
Everpure (formerly Pure Storage) is looking for a proactive Brand Protection Paralegal to join their legal team and support trademark portfolio management and brand protection efforts. This role will partner with Marketing and Sales teams to protect the company's intellectual property rights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage trademark docketing, including prosecution support and maintaining an internal trademark docket with historical mark clearances and product information
- →Collect use-based evidence to support trademark applications and renewals
- →Oversee outside counsel spend and evaluate performance metrics
- →Run weekly enforcement tasks by reviewing trademark watch notices
- →Monitor marketplace activities to protect Everpure IP rights
- →Track industry trends and serve as an internal resource
- →Review marketing collateral and provide legal support for promotional activities
- →Build relationships with Marketing and Sales teams
Requirements
- ✓6 to 9 years of experience as a trademark and brand protection paralegal
- ✓Experience preparing USPTO Trademark filings, including responses to office actions and oppositions at the TTAB
- ✓Experience with managing trademark docketing for large companies
- ✓Familiarity with Madrid Protocol and national trademark filing strategies
- ✓Familiarity with trademark search strategies and risk assessments
- ✓Experience with marketing collateral review consistent with FTC Endorsement Guides
- ✓Experience working in Google Workspace, Slack, Compumark Watch, Saegis, IPFolio, Asana, and Figma
- ✓Comfortable working in high-pace environments with limited legal guidance
- ✓Interest in developing knowledge of Everpure products and services
