About the Role
You will help design and build an enterprise-grade, software-defined block storage platform in the cloud, using C++ to solve challenging problems in performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement creative new algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems
- →Own and deliver FlashArray product security features end-to-end, from concept to shipped product
- →Analyse and resolve complex challenges with persistence and insight, with a strong focus on strengthening the security of our cloud storage platform
- →Work as a team with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
- →Make customers really happy, because that’s why we do what we do
- →Learn a ton, whether you know a lot, or nothing about system software
Requirements
- ✓Experience working with a systems programming language (such as C++, Python, Golang or similar)
- ✓Practical engagement in any systems software domain, which may include distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization
- ✓A background in embedded programming and storage systems can further enhance your impact within our team
- ✓A natural curiosity, demonstrated design sensibility, and enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
