About the Role
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join the Platform Analytics team at Pure Storage. This role involves transforming telemetry data from hardware and software into actionable insights to improve product decisions and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define, build, and evolve analytics architecture and tools for hardware and software events
- →Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for telemetry data
- →Apply data analysis and statistical techniques to improve hardware and software performance
- →Build dashboards and alerts for data-driven decision making
- →Lead data-driven projects from exploration through delivery
- →Analyze complex systems data and recommend business decisions
Requirements
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with Python in data/analytics environments
- ✓Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets
- ✓Experience with databases like Snowflake or similar analytical databases
- ✓Experience with modern engineering tooling (Git, Jenkins/Airflow)
- ✓Industry experience implementing machine learning models
- ✓Background in statistical analysis is highly desirable
- ✓Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills
