THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to join our Global Sales Operations team in India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce, a solid grasp of the end-to-end sales process, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, global environment. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, clear communication, and a proactive execution mindset. Key areas of responsibility include field support, UAT management, Inventory (Proof of concept) tracking, and business insights for Theater Ops leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ticket Management & Field Support
• Own and resolve tickets submitted by field sales teams with high accuracy and within SLA.
• Act as the first point of contact for queries related to opportunity creation, quote updates, and sales process support.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to quote generation, approvals, and primary quote management in SFDC.
Sales Process & System Support
• Support the opportunity lifecycle in Salesforce—from creation to close—ensuring data completeness and policy compliance.
• Work closely with Theater Ops, SE Ops, IT, Sales Planning, Billing, and Order Management to ensure timely issue resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new tools or system enhancements related to sales workflows and provide structured feedback.
Reporting, Documentation & Process Optimization
• Analyze pipeline, bookings, and revenue data to generate business insights.
• Collaborate with Theater Ops to identify bottlenecks, trends, and actionable items from field activities.
• Maintain updated documentation of sales ops processes and frequently asked questions to enable self-service and process consistency.
• Identify automation opportunities and suggest process improvements to increase ticket resolution efficiency.
Inventory/POC Management
• Support management and tracking of Proof of Concept (POC) requests.
• Collaborate with field teams to gather updates, monitor status, and escalate issues where needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
• 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sales process workflows, including opportunity stages, quote-to-order, and data dependencies.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC)—particularly Opportunity and Quote objects.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with data dashboards or ticket trend reporting is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and teams.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira preferred.
• Highly organized, self-starter mindset, and strong ownership of responsibilities.
