About the Role

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Data Governance Lead to support the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a formal and executable, enterprise-wide Acquisition Data Governance Framework and execute and evolve the framework, as required.

Key Responsibilities

→Direct an enterprise-wide Data Governance program, aligning data policies, standards, and controls with both business and regulatory requirements.
→Establish the Data Governance Council (DGC) and Data Management Working Group (DMWG), fostering executive-level collaboration and accountability across business units.
→Design and execute the start of a multi-year Data Governance roadmap, establishing the Data Stewardship Program.
→Implemented a data stewardship framework to ensure accountability for critical data domains, and created comprehensive data management policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technology, Engineering, or related discipline).
✓7+ years of experience in delivery, data governance, or technical implementation roles, with experience facilitating cross-functional teams.
✓Demonstrated success delivering complex, data-driven or technology products, preferably within government or defense environments.
✓Strong understanding of data visualization.
✓Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience briefing senior leaders.
✓Experience working in agile environments.
✓Secret clearance required to start.
