About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer to join our team at Remote. This is a craft-first, systems-minded role focused on shaping how we build products at Remote, including the patterns we repeat, the systems we rely on, and how we use AI and prototyping to move from idea to something real.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prototype like it matters. Lead by showing, not telling. Create high-fidelity prototypes, functional flows, and use AI when it speeds up exploration.
- →Build systems that scale. Spot patterns before they fragment and create reusable frameworks and abstractions.
- →Make AI useful, not gimmicky. Help the organization use AI in practical ways and set the standard for what “good” looks like.
- →Influence across the company. Partner with executives and VPs on direction and experimentation.
- →Raise the bar. Mentor at a mastery level and shape rituals, playbooks, and how we critique work.
Requirements
- ✓Strong leader scope and judgment across user centricity, craft, vision, communication, and leadership as an IC.
- ✓Serious craft. Portfolio showing excellent interaction and visual design.
- ✓Technical depth. Ability to prototype for real, build for scale, and focus on performance and details.
- ✓Ability to work in the undefined. Take vague goals and turn them into concrete, high-quality product directions.
- ✓Strong communicator with clear storytelling skills.
