About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Trading team at Ridgeline. This role involves building high-quality, complex applications for our Post Trading solution using cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

→Contribute design skills and technical expertise to a collaborative team
→Be involved in the entire software development process from requirements to implementation
→Impact a developing tech stack based on modern front-end frameworks and AWS back-end services
→Create developer-based automation for scalable, high-quality applications
→Coach and mentor teams of product engineers
→Think creatively and communicate solutions clearly

Requirements

✓Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
✓8+ years in software engineering with a history of high-performance design
✓6+ years of backend or fullstack development using Java/Kotlin
✓Experience with electronic trading or order management systems
✓Understanding of automated testing at all levels
✓Experience building cloud native applications on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
✓Knowledge of web front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
✓Ability to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a long-term perspective
✓Strong problem-solving aptitude
✓Effective communication skills
