About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team at Riot Games. This role focuses on developing solutions to ensure the secure, scalable operations of Riot's global network backbone and UDP game traffic. You will collaborate with other infrastructure and game teams to build the foundation that enables our games to operate globally and securely at scale.

Key Responsibilities

→Break down and independently execute on work with general direction from team tech leadership
→Adhere to quality design, coding standards, and general engineering best practices
→Continually look for efficiency and improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and participate in code reviews
→Work with team technical leadership to ensure successful implementation
→Build healthy relationships with other engineers on the team
→Participate in routine, emergent, and on-call work including analysis focused on uptime, SLAs, and RCAs

Requirements

✓2+ years experience as a software engineer with focus on infrastructure or tooling in a fast-paced, large-scale environment
✓Experience with full software development life cycle
✓Experience in one or more object oriented languages (e.g. Go, C++, Python, Java)
✓Experience with large-scale cloud and/or physical infrastructure ecosystems
✓Understanding of core infrastructure services, distributed systems, microservices, and software at a large scale
