About the Role

We are looking for a VFX Artist to join the Real-Time VFX team at Riot Games. This role focuses on designing and implementing special effects that enhance gameplay and communicate essential game information.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and help implement sleek, dynamic, and dramatic special effects that add atmosphere and depth to gameplay
→Balance visual satisfaction and gameplay clarity while ensuring effects accurately represent actions or states
→Create aesthetically astounding visual effects that communicate essential game information
→Use craft skills to draw, paint, animate, and model with equal proficiency
→Synthesize brand new assets from classic designs
→Find creative solutions to eliminate difficult problems in production

Requirements

✓2+ years of professional experience as a visual effects artist in games or related industries
✓Experience working with Unity, Unreal, or equivalent game engine VFX tools
✓Portfolio or demo reel of work
