About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our IT Application team at RISE. You will help build our information system used globally by our staff, supporting our mission to accelerate the internet for the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze and develop solutions to information needs in our business
- →Design, develop, deploy, and test new information and data processing applications
- →Perform preventive maintenance and refactor existing code base
- →Monitor, respond, and resolve incidents in production
- →Develop and maintain production infrastructure
- →Support internal staff and stakeholders with application issues
- →Investigate and create proofs of concept using external services and APIs
- →Contribute to user guides and knowledge base development
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- ✓3+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Proficiency in Ruby, Javascript, Python, or PHP
- ✓Experience with data ETL and reporting
- ✓2+ years experience in end-to-end IT management
- ✓Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS
- ✓Linux administration skills
- ✓Excellent communication and customer-focused skills
