At RobCo, we automate the ordinary, so humans can do the extraordinary. To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Sales Development Representative (m/w/d) - Embedded Solutions to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.
About Embedded Solutions
You will join Embedded Solutions, a central pillar of RobCoโs future direction and scalability. In this business unit, we systematically transfer our validated engineering expertise from over 400 automation and robotics projects into the product portfolios of leading machine manufacturers.
The technological foundation is our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform: the synergy of the worldโs first modular industrial robot, software, and state-of-the-art Physical AI. This approach allows us to precisely adapt robotics to the specific machines and requirements of our partners, while our software stack enables seamless integration and adaptive processes.
Our goal is to build strategic partnerships and co-develop intelligent solutions that become an integral part of serial production products. You will play a key role in scaling this business area from its โpioneer phaseโ into a core pillar of RobCo.
Your Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact:
Proactively engage with potential partners and identify the right decision-makers within target organizations.
- Strategic Sales Driver:
Generate qualified sales opportunities and operate strategically within a dynamic marketing and sales landscape.
- Relationship Builder:
Build and maintain strong relationships aligned with RobCoโs Operating Principles and ensure a clean handover to the Field Sales team.
- Cross-Functional Team Player:
Collaborate closely with other departments and support campaigns to continuously optimize our go-to-market strategy.
- Value Evangelist:
You donโt just sell hardware โ you position the potential of a deep technological partnership, from initial concept to scalable series production.
- Creative Pioneer:
- Independently identify potential partners within our focus industries
- Actively contribute to refining our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and proactively identify promising new industries for our co-development model
- Design and test innovative outreach strategies tailored to technical stakeholders and decision-makers
We're looking for someone who has:
- 1โ3 years of relevant professional experience in Sales, Business Development, or Consulting, ideally with direct customer interaction and measurable target ownership
- A strong track record of achieving acquisition or quota targets
- A genuine interest in robotics, automation, or the manufacturing industry
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trust-based relationships
- Strong communication skills in both German and English
- A pioneer mindset, motivated to actively shape a new business unit and independently unlock market potential
- Analytical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to deeply understand partner product environments and identify where robotics integration and automation create value
- Affinity for modern sales technology and AI tools (e.g., Clay, ZoomInfo, etc.), leveraging them to efficiently scale prospecting and research processes
