About the Role
Roku is seeking a skilled Support Engineer to join the Partner Management team. This role involves supporting content partners with their Roku channels, triaging complex issues, and providing thorough resolutions. You'll also develop tools and innovative features for global Roku partners and demonstrate platform functionality through live demos.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support content partners with Roku channels, including launch, integration, and post-launch support
- →Triage and resolve complex production issues related to ads and Roku Pay
- →Develop tools, alerting systems, and dashboards for production support
- →Manage testing and rollout of technical changes and API updates
- →Perform Business Acceptance Testing for new features
- →Build localized sample applications demonstrating APIs and client-side functionality
- →Serve as a subject matter expert for Ads platform features
- →Evaluate ads for compliance with Roku certification requirements
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in Roku Pay or similar payment systems
- ✓Experience with production issue triage and support in streaming TV
- ✓3+ years of experience in production support, UAT, and sample app development using JavaScript
- ✓Understanding of web games and chromium development
- ✓Familiarity with video streaming technologies like DASH and HLS
- ✓Familiarity with embedded systems and consumer electronics
- ✓Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- ✓Experience with analytics and data tools such as Tableau and Looker
- ✓Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
