About the Role

The Inside Sales position is responsible for managing customer communication from the time a customer Request for Quote arrives until the customer sends a Purchase Order. This role involves product selection, technical support, and coordination with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

→Receipt of the customer RFQ (Request For Quotation)
→Managing customer web portals
→Handling customer inquiries
→Product Selection and Sizing of Electric, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators, controls, and other instruments
→Enlisting assistance from Rotork Sales team, other Rotork offices, Engineering, and Purchasing departments
→Consolidating and documenting projected cost and delivery estimates
→Determining proper pricing levels using guidelines set by the General Manager
→Producing customer quotations with commercial terms and technical information
→Reviewing incoming customer Purchase Orders to compare details against the quotation
→Creating technical and commercial internal orders to Rotork factories
→Providing technical support for contracts

Requirements

✓Knowledge of electronic controls, Hydraulic/ pneumatic actuators & controls, mechanical systems, and operator interface
✓Ability to design Automation solutions for a variety of products and assemblies
✓Experience in providing technical support to customers, sales, production, and contracts departments
✓Ability to review customer RFQs and project specifications
✓Experience in sizing, selecting, and communicating via operational description and schematics for pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic systems
✓Ability to devise technical and commercial proposals based on the best solution
✓Experience in working with sales & contracts departments on solutions & commercial issues
✓Ability to follow-up on projects with company representatives, distributors, customers, and area sales managers
✓Ability to develop tools to improve department process efficiency using Excel
