About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join Ruby Labs and build and scale a modern full-stack web application. This role involves ownership across both frontend and backend development, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop complex features and modules using Next.js for the frontend and NodeJS for the backend
- →Enforce best practices in coding, testing, caching, and performance monitoring
- →Design and implement comprehensive security measures at the application, infrastructure, and data levels
- →Integrate analytics systems and conduct A/B tests to enhance the user experience
- →Research and integrate emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven solutions
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 2 years of active, commercial experience with Next.js (v15.x)
- ✓Deep knowledge and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with a modern framework such as NestJS, Fastify, or Hono
- ✓Strong understanding of Fastify, including its main advantages, validation and serialization, and authentication and authorization mechanisms
- ✓Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or Supabase, including query optimization and schema design
- ✓In-depth, practical knowledge of Prisma or Drizzle ORM
- ✓Profound understanding of caching strategies and the ability to apply them effectively
- ✓Full proficiency with Docker for creating, managing, and deploying containerized applications
- ✓Understanding and practical application of background workers and message queues
- ✓Proven experience in building secure systems
- ✓Experience working with analytics tools and platforms for A/B testing
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions
