About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Sales Engineer to join Samsara, a pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud. This role involves bringing our unique connected operations technology to customers, focusing on logistics/supply chain management, fleet maintenance strategies, global asset management, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- →Become an expert on Samsara products and cutting-edge tech
- →Demonstrate quick and efficient discovery to understand customer needs
- →Be available for standard demo/account coverage and technical expertise
- →Explain device installation and technical aspects of APIs
- →Educate customers on technical aspects and deploy scripts using Samsara API
- →Advocate for prospects and customers in internal tech conversations
- →Act as a liaison between product and sales teams
- →Champion Samsara’s values and operating principles
Requirements
- ✓BS in Engineering or related discipline
- ✓Preferred 1+ years experience in pre-sales or support
- ✓Ability to explain complex technical concepts
- ✓Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- ✓Well-versed in cloud software, networking, or automation systems
- ✓Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus
