About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Support Engineer to join our team at Sanity.io. This role focuses on providing account and billing support, collaborating with Billing Engineering and Finance, and contributing to AI-driven automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own billing and account support tickets from intake to resolution
- →Investigate usage questions, subscription changes, invoice discrepancies, and arrears scenarios
- →Handle billing escalations tactfully and empathetically
- →Manage intake for customer launches, campaigns, and load testing
- →Capture and improve knowledge for the billing and account domain
- →Contribute to AI-driven automation efforts to improve ticket deflection and troubleshooting
- →Participate in Discord community support and collaborate with Support Engineers
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in technical support, operations, or engineering-adjacent roles
- ✓Hands-on programming experience (JavaScript or similar)
- ✓Strong written communication skills
- ✓Detail-oriented and process-driven
- ✓Comfortable working across teams (Engineering, Finance, Sales, Security, Privacy)
- ✓Experience with billing platforms such as Stripe, Orb, or similar systems
- ✓Familiarity with SaaS subscription models, usage-based billing, or arrears workflows
- ✓Curious about AI-driven tooling and interested in contributing to support automation
- ✓Motivated to grow into broader Support Engineering responsibilities
