About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Engineer to join our Application Platform Team at Sardine. We build the core infrastructure, shared libraries, and architectural standards that power Sardine’s entire ecosystem. This role involves defining how code is written across the company and solving complex architectural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and build high-performance, scalable microservices using Go
- →Optimize core systems by analyzing and improving infrastructure efficiency
- →Standardize best practices for database usage, API design, and cloud infrastructure
- →Work with Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) to ensure platform resilience, security, and automation
Requirements
- ✓2–3+ years of commercial backend development experience
- ✓Deep understanding of Go, including concurrency primitives, memory management, and runtime behavior
- ✓Strong experience with various databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- ✓Hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS or GCP)
- ✓Experience building distributed systems using message queues and event-driven architecture
- ✓Solid understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, gRPC) and basics of Kubernetes
