They are looking for a specialist who can take ownership of search marketing efforts, combining paid campaign execution with technical and on-page SEO to drive measurable growth in traffic, conversions, and return on investment.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The SEM & SEO Specialist will own all search engine marketing and search engine optimization initiatives, with a strong focus on paid search campaign performance and ongoing SEO improvements. This role is highly data-driven and requires someone who can manage campaign execution, analyze results, and continuously optimize search visibility across multiple channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SEM (GOOGLE ADS) CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
- Own and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, including search, display, shopping, and remarketing campaigns.
- Develop and execute paid search strategies focused on maximizing ROI and conversion performance.
- Monitor and optimize bidding strategies, targeting settings, ad creatives, and audience segmentation.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and improve campaign efficiency.
- Track key SEM metrics including CTR, CPC, ROAS, and conversion rates.
SEO OPTIMIZATION
- Implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and search rankings across multiple websites.
- Perform on-page SEO updates including meta tags, heading structures, content optimization, and internal linking.
- Conduct technical SEO reviews and recommend improvements to site structure and performance.
- Optimize local SEO efforts, including business listings and map visibility.
ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE REPORTING
- Use tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor and analyze performance.
- Track traffic trends, campaign outcomes, and ranking performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver regular reports with actionable insights tied to KPIs and growth targets.
- Continuously optimize campaigns and SEO initiatives based on data findings.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & STRATEGY
- Partner with internal marketing teams to align SEM and SEO efforts with broader business goals.
- Recommend landing page improvements to support conversion performance through testing and optimization.
- Support A/B testing initiatives to improve search traffic conversion efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SEM and SEO, with strong hands-on ownership of paid search campaigns.
- Proven track record managing search campaigns that drive measurable traffic, conversions, and ROI improvements.
- Strong familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related search tools.
SKILLS
- Advanced Google Ads expertise, including keyword strategy, bidding optimization, and campaign performance management.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge, including audits, on-page optimization, and site performance improvements.
- Strong analytical ability with confidence translating performance data into business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Moz Pro, or Similarweb is a plus.
