π‘ Overview
As an Account Executive for Northern Europe at ScorePlay, you will drive new business growth across the UK, Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland), and Benelux, owning the entire sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract.
This is a consultative SaaS sales role that combines account strategy, relationship building, and disciplined deal execution from discovery to close.
You will build relationships with sports organizations and showcase how ScorePlay can revolutionize their media management workflows, while partnering closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and strong regional growth.
π§ What you'll work on:
New business and deal leadership
- Own the full sales cycle for deals up to $200K ARR, including discovery, value mapping, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across clubs, leagues, and federations throughout Northern Europe.
- Create mutual close plans, manage legal and commercial steps, and maintain accurate forecasts and CRM hygiene.
Pipeline development and account strategy
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within clubs, regional leagues, and federations, focusing on small to mid-sized organizations across Northern Europe.
- Execute outreach strategies through a combination of prospecting, referrals, events, and inbound lead conversion.
- Qualify, prioritize, and manage opportunities to maintain a healthy and predictable pipeline.
Consultative discovery and storytelling
- Run structured discovery to understand pains, current workflows, and business impact across different stakeholder profiles.
- Deliver tailored demos and presentations that clearly demonstrate the value of ScorePlay's platform to both senior non-technical and technical buyers.
- Develop persuasive proposals and RFP responses that align with client needs and regional market dynamics.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work with Customer Success on handovers, onboarding, and early adoption to set accounts up for retention and expansion.
- Share market feedback with Product and Engineering to help shape the roadmap.
- Partner with Marketing on regional lead generation, case studies, and event strategy.
- Represent ScorePlay at key industry events to strengthen brand visibility and credibility in Northern Europe.
π§© What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience or within the sports/media industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience owning opportunities end to end and building credibility with senior stakeholders across clubs, leagues, and federations.
- Strong consultative skills, including discovery, business case building, and clear, structured recommendation decks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable with executive meetings, industry events, and long-term nurturing.
- Fluent in English (native or near-native level required). A Nordic or Dutch language is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple opportunities independently.
- You do not need prior sports industry experience. We will help you ramp up on the industry and ecosystem.

- Experience selling into sports, media, or content-focused organizations.
- Familiarity with rights holders, leagues, or federations.
