About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at SEB Kort. This role focuses on building robust, secure, and scalable systems to support our card and payment products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with developers, business analysts, and architects to plan, design, develop, and test a relational data platform in Azure
- →Design and build data solutions and models for reporting and advanced analytics
- →Adapt concepts to applications by creating DDL scripts for Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures
- →Ensure high standards in code quality, testing, documentation, and system performance
- →Share knowledge, mentor developers, support stakeholders, and contribute to improving customer experience
Requirements
- ✓Passionate about designing and building data solutions
- ✓Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
- ✓At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in data warehouse development in Azure
- ✓Excellent knowledge in SQL, Spark, Azure DB
- ✓Experience with service buses/streaming platforms (particularly Kafka)
- ✓Knowledge of Java, Maven, git, and Jenkins
- ✓Practical experience with DevOps and agile methodologies
- ✓Practical experience with statistical analysis, Kubernetes, or micro-services solutions in the finance service sector is beneficial
- ✓Fluency in English
