About the Role
A Staff Platform Engineer is a technical lead within SEEK's AI Platform Services (AIPS) Engineering teams. You'll be responsible for the technical strategy and direction of SEEK's GenAI and ML Platforms, ensuring these systems are highly available and enable AI innovation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and evolve technical architecture for GenAI and ML platform systems
- →Drive technical strategy for multi-cloud AI infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
- →Build and operate highly scalable AI infrastructure using AWS and Python
- →Lead cross-team technical initiatives that influence AI platform strategy
- →Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to enable self-service model development
- →Support capacity planning, risk management, and scoping of technical work
- →Grow team member technical capabilities through coaching
Requirements
- ✓In-depth technical understanding of AI platform infrastructure
- ✓Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, GCP)
- ✓Strong Python skills for platform automation and tooling
- ✓Knowledge of GenAI and ML system operational requirements
- ✓Experience leading technical strategy and architecture decisions
- ✓Ability to align platform capabilities with business objectives
