About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Ontario sales team at SGS. This position is responsible for selling Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Services in a geographical territory to existing and prospective customers in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- →Generate business leads with existing and potential customers in the Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Services communities
- →Conduct discovery sessions with legitimate leads to identify client needs and determine potential opportunities
- →Develop value propositions to propose how SGS services will help clients achieve their goals
- →Work with Sales Director, Marketing and Client Services to write, present and communicate proposals
- →Secure closure on proposals to new and existing clients
- →Communicate sales process activities and provide market intelligence to internal teams
- →Present and represent SGS at trade shows to build brand awareness
- →Interact with laboratory operations to ensure capabilities and capacities are not oversold
- →Act as the customer's advocate in interactions with the SGS organization
Requirements
- ✓Valid driver's license, a vehicle, and a clean driving record
- ✓Ability to regularly travel to client sites
- ✓Experience in technical sales, preferably in Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Services
- ✓Strong understanding of the customer-centric selling process
- ✓Ability to utilize lead generation, prospecting, value proposition, proposal, close and implementation sales process model
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Ability to develop a network of industry contacts and continually qualify market conditions
- ✓Experience with CRM and KPIs
- ✓Ability to represent SGS professionally and ethically in the marketplace
