About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Application Support / Developer to join our team. This hybrid role combines hands-on application support with ongoing development work, ensuring our systems remain stable, efficient, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide 2nd/3rdline support for business critical applications.
- →Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
- →Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- →Manage service requests, problem tickets, and change requests.
- →Liaise with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- →Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and support guides.
- →Develop, maintain, and enhance existing applications using approved technologies.
- →Write clean, efficient, and well documented code.
- →Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- →Assist in the design and implementation of new features and system integrations.
- →Support release cycles, deployments, and environment management.
- →Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows.
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience in application support or a similar technical support role.
- ✓Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, NET).
- ✓Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- ✓Understanding of APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
- ✓Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- ✓Ability to analyse logs, debug issues, and trace application behaviour.
- ✓Excellent communication skills and a customer focused mindset.
- ✓Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- ✓Knowledge of AI technologies.
