About the Role
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join SIXT and drive technology execution that enables our rapid growth across the United States. This role involves leading the planning and execution of technology initiatives that support new branch openings, infrastructure deployments, and operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead IT readiness planning for new branch openings, ensuring all infrastructure, systems, and technology components are fully operational prior to launch
- →Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and measurable success criteria while aligning execution with global SIXT standards
- →Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Facilities, Security, Vendors, and global IT teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- →Establish clear go/no-go readiness criteria, proactively identifying risks and escalating blockers to maintain launch timelines
- →Develop and maintain standardized branch opening playbooks, governance frameworks, and documentation to drive consistency across markets
- →Provide structured status reporting and executive-ready updates to leadership, ensuring transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision making
Requirements
- ✓3–5+ years of experience managing IT, infrastructure, or systems implementation projects, ideally within multi-site or operational environments
- ✓Highly organized, able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- ✓Effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams, building alignment between Operations, Vendors, and IT partners
- ✓Proactive identification of risks, implementation of mitigation strategies, and ensuring projects adhere to defined governance and quality standards
- ✓Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms
- ✓PMP certification is preferred; authorized to work in the United States and available for travel as required
