About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join SmithRx, a rapidly growing Health-Tech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management sector. You will play a key role in developing our next-generation PBM platform, contributing to the entire engineering lifecycle from coding to testing and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform full-stack development using Golang, GraphQL, SQL, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and Java
- →Collaborate with technical leads to understand requirements and produce high-quality software
- →Apply software development best practices, design patterns, and modern tools
- →Extend platform capabilities using frameworks like GraphQL, React, and GORM
- →Utilize AWS technologies including Lambda and Fargate for cloud infrastructure
- →Ensure code quality through end-to-end testing and documentation
- →Provide production support by troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis
- →Contribute to a culture of learning through code reviews and exploring new technologies
- →Share new AI tools and technologies to improve software delivery
Requirements
- ✓BS in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Recent college graduate or less than 2 years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓Experience with a compiled language such as Go, Java, C#, or C++ (Go experience preferred)
- ✓Ability to write effective queries with PostgreSQL and basic schema design
- ✓Solid understanding of API design, design patterns, and testing best practices
- ✓Basic understanding of GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- ✓Experience using GenAI tools and understanding of AI limitations
- ✓Positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to navigate ambiguity
