About the Role
We are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to join our team in Barendrecht. In this role, you will work closely with the field sales, purchasing department, and engineering within John Crane Holland and other John Crane locations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Handle and process technical inquiries and orders;
- →Follow up on quotations and order files with customers (in consultation with the account manager);
- →Maintain contacts with partner organizations and internal departments of John Crane worldwide;
- →Place direct delivery orders and custom-engineered orders;
- →Prepare quotations for spare parts and/or conversion proposals for mechanical seals, couplings, filters, and other product groups in the CRM business system C4C, based on information from the customer or account manager;
- →Order processing and follow-up in the ERP-SAP business system;
- →Evaluate the technical and commercial feasibility of quotations;
- →Provide technical (commercial) support to customers;
- →Identify market trends;
- →Communicate regularly with customers and other involved external parties;
- →Consult regularly with all involved departments and actively resolve bottlenecks in consultation.
