About the Role
The Sales Manager plays an integral role at Smiths Detection Inc, supporting strategic accounts and building customer relationships. This individual contributor position focuses on sales opportunities for security screening systems across specific customer groups.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support new business development with existing and new customers
- →Gain familiarity with assigned Key and Strategic Accounts
- →Create and execute annual Sales Plans for assigned markets
- →Provide strategic market insights to the sales team
- →Support accurate sales reporting and data management in SAP
- →Drive exploration of new opportunities for customer acquisition
- →Ensure customer satisfaction and client retention
- →Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth business operations
- →Work with Programs team for project completion
- →Handle all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, relationship management, product demonstrations, and quotation creation
Requirements
- ✓Experience in sales, preferably in security systems or related industries
- ✓Strong understanding of customer relationship management
- ✓Ability to develop and execute sales strategies
- ✓Proficiency in sales reporting and data management
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ✓Knowledge of export/import control and security regulations
