About the Role
We are looking for a Program Manager to join Smiths Detection. This role focuses on promoting excellence in project delivery across the assigned portfolio by applying a wide range of recognized project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage the complete project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, communication, and closure, in accordance with Smiths Detection PEC processes.
- →Coordinate project and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with internal standards.
- →Maintain comprehensive project documentation (WBS, CBS, RACI matrix, schedule, resource plan, risk and change management).
- →Define and update cost and schedule baselines, monitor scope, and apply risk and change management processes.
- →Analyze monthly variances with Project Controls, prepare reports, and present during project reviews.
- →Support and mentor junior members of the project management team.
- →Possibility to act as Program Director deputy: supervising activities and representing in meetings.
- →Promote collaboration and integration of programs within the company to optimize overall efficiency.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in managing complex projects in a matrix organization.
- ✓Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
- ✓Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- ✓Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- ✓Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- ✓Understanding of roles, team structures, and skills required to achieve program objectives.
