Windows Systems Administrator (5183) at Smxtech

SMX is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support our customer at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Resolve technical system issues for Windows systems and other devices • Interact with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly • Vulnerability scanning and mitigation • Network cabling creation, running, and patching • Create and update documentation for ATOs, SOPs, & work instructions • Maintain accurate asset management records • Decommission systems according to DoD guidelines Required Skills and Experience: • Clearance Required: Top Secret • 3+ years related technical experience is required • Advanced knowledge and experience with administering Windows operating systems (7, 10, 11, and Server) • Knowledge of RDT&E operations and policies • Experience with imaging computers and approval processes • ACAS experience Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field • ACAS certification Application Deadline: 4/13/2026 #cjpost #LI-Onsite The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
