About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our SAFE team at SoFi. This role involves building and supporting decisioning and event detection platforms and services that reduce fraud/risk and ensure AML compliance across all SoFi products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement end-to-end solutions for both front-end and back-end components
- →Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications and APIs
- →Participate in architecture discussions and provide insights to drive technical decisions
- →Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure reliability and functionality
- →Review code contributions from junior developers and provide constructive feedback
- →Create and maintain technical documentation for developed software, APIs, and processes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- ✓3+ years of programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
- ✓Strong expertise in back-end technologies and programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Springboot, Node.js, Python, C#, Kafka, PostgreSQL
- ✓Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
- ✓Experience working in a collaborative coding environment
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Experience working on an SOA or microservice-based application
