About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Tyrannosaurus Rest (T-Rest) team at Xero. This role involves building and managing software that solves complex engineering problems at scale, focusing on API infrastructure design and creation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Improve the API monetisation model by implementing advanced data filtering
- →Convert legacy XML APIs to JSON
- →Decouple the integration API from the monolithic code base
- →Develop a completely new API version (V4)
- →Maintain a high-performing backend environment using C#.NET and JSON
Requirements
- ✓Deep expertise in the design, creation, and maintenance of API infrastructure
- ✓Strong backend development background with proficiency in C#.NET or similar languages
- ✓Experience with sophisticated testing and automation
- ✓Ability to assess complex technical issues and communicate impacts and solutions
- ✓Willingness to join an on-call rotation
