ABOUT THE ROLE We’re scaling our Infrastructure Stream and need an Infra Engineer who is excited to grow in cloud infrastructure, process automation, monitoring systems, and engineering tooling. If you’re passionate about building and improving processes that make engineers’ work more efficient and enjoyable, this role is made for you. He doesn’t just set the strategy — he’s hands-on, rolling up his sleeves and driving improvements alongside the team of 4 other qualified Infra Engineers. Explore our technology stack ➡️ here [Upgrade to PRO to see link] WHAT YOU’LL OWN - Building infrastructure in AWS Cloud with extensive use of managed services - Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for corporate resources - Launching new systems and refactoring existing ones - Working with PostgreSQL based on AWS RDS - Working with observability systems based on the Grafana stack, VictoriaMetrics, ELK, and Vector - Collaborating closely with the whole tech team: Data Engineers, Development, and Product - Keeping our infrastructure and processes docs up-to-date YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE - Basic knowledge of Linux: understanding of networking, process management, and storage management - Experience with AWS: this may include commercial experience, course projects, pet projects, or certifications - Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles; any experience with Terraform is a plus - Familiarity with CI/CD systems: understanding their purpose and basic hands-on experience - Experience independently deploying a system from scratch: for example, deploying an application in the cloud, setting up monitoring, writing simple pipelines, or creating a cluster - Relevant education or professional experience in IT - Willingness to learn, proactiveness, and the ability to work in a team NICE TO HAVE - Basic knowledge of programming (Python, Go, etc.) - Experience working with monitoring systems - Familiarity with technologies overlapping with our Tech Radar WHY SOLIDGATE? - No internships here — we build careers.
