About the Role
The Data Intelligence team at Solutions by Text is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the organization through data-driven insights and analysis. This position reports to the Data Intelligence Lead Analyst and is responsible for delivering decision-grade reporting, partnering with stakeholders on KPIs and analytical solutions, improving data quality, and leading self-service BI communications and training.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models supporting business functions
- →Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into actionable reporting solutions
- →Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating source data, monitoring report outputs, and documenting assumptions and definitions
- →Collaborate with Data Engineering to define analytical requirements and contribute to the design of optimized data models and transformation logic
- →Support self-service BI users through communications, collateral, and training materials
- →Document KPI definitions, data lineage, and reporting assumptions to support consistency and self-service analytics
- →Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve refresh reliability
Requirements
- ✓Experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data roles
- ✓Proficiency in SQL, including techniques such as CTEs and window functions for dataset manipulation
- ✓Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data warehouse concepts
- ✓Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, Power Query, and dashboard design)
- ✓Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills with the ability to work independently on multiple projects
- ✓Experience collaborating across technical and business teams; ability to translate analytical findings into business insights
