About the Role
SonicWall is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our EMEA Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves monitoring and responding to cybersecurity events to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access or malicious activities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide security monitoring and incident response for cyber security events.
- →Monitor and analyze logs and alerts to identify actionable security incidents.
- →Conduct proactive threat hunting to detect potential incidents.
- →Provide Incident Response support when analysis confirms an actionable incident.
- →Respond to SOC cybersecurity tickets from partners.
- →Investigate, document, and report on SOC tickets ensuring compliance with procedures.
- →Escalate issues or tickets following documented procedures.
- →Stay updated on emerging threats and tactics.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in security monitoring and incident response.
- ✓Strong analytical skills for log and alert analysis.
- ✓Knowledge of threat hunting techniques.
- ✓Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- ✓Ability to work in a night shift environment (Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM).
- ✓Excellent communication and documentation skills.
