About the Role
We are seeking a Mainframe Production Support Software Engineer to join our team in Noida. This role involves providing production support, bug fixing, and delivering assigned tasks according to predefined timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide production support and bug fixing
- →Deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards
- →Monitor and support batch processes
- →Work on the resolution of assigned batch tickets
- →Analyze and report possible batch incidents
- →Handle ad-hoc requests for service status or one-time information retrieval/reports
- →Participate in implementation activities
Requirements
- ✓2-4 years of experience in mainframe production support
- ✓Working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, Job spool, File and Abend handling
- ✓Ability to multi-task and proactive learning
- ✓Willingness to work in 24*7 rotational Europe/India shift
- ✓Good to have awareness of planner applications or job schedulers like Control-M
- ✓Good to have awareness of mainframe abends
- ✓Good to have awareness of DB2 database
- ✓Good to have awareness of Incident/Problem management tools (Jira, Service now, Confluence or any other tool)
