About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join Sparta, a next-generation commodity trading platform. This role bridges technology and business, guiding the development of products that align with customer needs and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
- →Identify and resolve dependencies and roadblocks
- →Partner with commodity owners, software engineers, and stakeholders to drive product deliverables through the software development cycle
- →Synthesize technical goals from product vision and map global product strategy to team tasks
- →Maintain a broad and complete state of team projects, identifying and resolving issues
- →Enhance cross-team collaboration and align domain and technical experts around shared objectives
- →Coordinate with teams to plan and prioritize tasks for maximum business impact
Requirements
- ✓4-6 years of experience as a TPM working with multiple engineering teams on multiple products
- ✓Demonstrated success managing complex data and AI-centric software development projects
- ✓Ability to engage in technical discussions and learn technical concepts
- ✓Outcome-oriented with a getting things done attitude
- ✓Ability to influence and coordinate between individuals who do not report directly to you
- ✓Lightweight approach to project management centered around rapid iteration
- ✓Strong relationships with customer-facing teams and high levels of empathy for end-users
- ✓Meticulous attention to detail and maintaining a high product quality bar
- ✓Past experience in a commodity trading environment is a plus but not required
