About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Spotify Advertising’s Growth team. This role focuses on unlocking insights and building scalable data products that power advertisers and revenue growth. You'll work on marketing attribution models, paid media spend optimization, and growth analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to generate actionable insights
- →Contribute to marketing attribution models (MTA, MMM, LTV) and translate insights into budget scenario planning
- →Design and implement experiments to evaluate incrementality, lift, and media effectiveness
- →Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for data-informed financial decisions
- →Translate business problems into structured analytical approaches
- →Write production-quality code (Python, SQL) to analyze large-scale datasets
- →Communicate data-driven recommendations to technical and non-technical partners
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in data science with a quantitative degree
- ✓Deep understanding of paid media and digital advertising ecosystems
- ✓Experience building Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and multi-touch attribution (MTA) methodologies
- ✓Strong track record designing and analyzing A/B tests and incrementality experiments
- ✓Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning
- ✓Experience building data pipelines (DBT) and developing dashboards (Tableau, Looker)
- ✓Ability to solve ambiguous problems and translate them into data-driven solutions
- ✓Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
- ✓Skilled at building relationships and leading data-driven discussions
- ✓Motivated to work with AI tools and emerging concepts
