About the Role
The Research Data Science team at Spring Venture Group is seeking a Research Data Analyst to help push the boundaries of how the company utilizes unstructured data. This role involves using Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract structured insights from conversation transcripts and adapting the organization to the rapidly evolving future of AI.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign and write prompts to support specific AI outcomes
- βAnalyze AI performance and make process and algorithm updates for performance improvement
- βResearch and educate on the ever-changing AI field to ensure updated best practices
- βValidate prompt performance through scientific methods
- βUnderstand assumptions and their pitfalls, challenging them when appropriate
- βApply sound logic and mathematics to database queries and reports
- βCreate simple and elegant solutions to seemingly complex problems
- βMaintain and update Streamlit/SQL reports as necessary
Requirements
- βExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
- βStrong statistical analysis skills
- βProficiency in SQL and Streamlit
- βAbility to perform rigorous data validation and analysis
- βPassion for finding truth in data and verifying it with technical discipline
- βUnderstanding of AB testing and experimental design
- βAbility to translate abstract business concepts into rigorous, testable prompt definitions
- βExperience with stratified sampling strategies and manual validation of model outputs
- βAbility to visualize data and explain trends to stakeholders
- βStrong problem-solving skills and ability to create elegant solutions to complex problems
