About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a strategic growth partner within the SmartConnect B2B division, responsible for driving market expansion and ensuring the administrative fluidity of the sales cycle. This high-impact, activity-driven position supports Account Executives by managing initial partner relationships and navigating administrative hurdles.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute high-volume daily outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new business leads
- →Serve as the primary administrative lead during the contracting phase, facilitating legal communications and managing NDAs, BAAs, and partnership agreements
- →Conduct initial discovery calls and Solution Overview presentations to qualify business fit and project viability
- →Proactively manage the signature process and contract logistics to ensure timely execution
- →Perform deep-dive research into large brokerage firms to identify key decision-makers
- →Vet incoming B2B leads to ensure they meet qualification standards
- →Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce for all discovery notes, account stages, and contact details
- →Ensure a clean transfer of partner data to Onboarding and Implementation teams
- →Gather market intelligence to help Account Executives target strategic outreach
- →Participate in weekly strategy huddles with Account Executives and Account Managers
Requirements
- ✓Disciplined communication skills with ability to pivot between strategic outreach and detailed project management
- ✓Experience with high-volume outbound prospecting
- ✓Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and contract logistics
- ✓Proficiency with Salesforce and CRM tools
- ✓Ability to conduct effective discovery calls and presentations
- ✓Experience with legal documentation such as NDAs and BAAs
- ✓Research skills to identify key decision-makers in target organizations
- ✓Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and data transfer
- ✓Team collaboration skills for coordinating with Account Executives and Managers
