About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join SpyCloud, a company dedicated to making the internet safer by disrupting cybercrime. This role involves building large-scale distributed data systems and solving complex software problems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, deploy, and test existing and new products
- →Provide strong leadership on technical direction and design decisions
- →Troubleshoot customer-reported issues
- →Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals
- →Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of professional experience delivering high-quality production software
- ✓Strong working knowledge of programming languages like GO and TypeScript
- ✓Strong working knowledge of building and interacting with RESTful APIs
- ✓Strong working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and DynamoDB
- ✓Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- ✓Working knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
- ✓Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as API Gateway, AWS Lambda, EC2, and ECS
- ✓Excellent communication and writing skills
- ✓Version control and additional skills like AWS CodeBuild, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
