About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Standard Bots, a company building an accessible robotics platform for manufacturing and automation. This role involves working on complex technical products and transforming powerful capabilities into user-friendly tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design end-to-end workflows for both technical and non-technical users
- →Translate user needs, technical constraints, and product goals into clear interaction models
- →Work through edge cases, states, and failure modes
- →Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- →Collaborate with product managers and engineers
- →Participate in user research and feedback synthesis
- →Help establish shared patterns and design principles
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of relevant experience
- ✓Strong user empathy, especially for users in constrained or high-stakes environments
- ✓Ability to reason about systems: states, flows, dependencies, and trade-offs
- ✓Comfort working through ambiguity and iterating toward clarity
- ✓Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
- ✓A portfolio that shows thoughtful problem framing and depth
