About the Role
Our client, an ISO certified international IT consulting and Engineering Services company, is seeking a Cyberspace Concept Developer and Validator to support an upcoming NATO ACT program in Norfolk, VA. This role involves developing and validating cyberspace operation capability concepts based on NATO operational needs and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify cyberspace operation capability concepts based on NATO operational needs, literature review, and guidance from ACT Cyberspace Technical Director.
- →Develop identified cyberspace operation capability concepts through research, input collection, concept drafting, submission, and approval.
- →Build and maintain Communities of Interest dedicated to the development and implementation of cyberspace operation concepts.
- →Contribute to experimentation and validation efforts related to cyberspace operation concepts.
- →Develop engineering products/artefacts to support cyberspace capability development and implementation.
- →Support and contribute to other warfare development activities related to concept implementation and engineering.
- →Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, conferences, and other events.
- →Perform additional tasks as required by the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR).
Requirements
- ✓Master’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or computer science, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of recent experience in system engineering and capability concept development in a military context.
- ✓Proven recent hands-on experience in authoring cyberspace concepts, specifications, architectures, and designs, preferably in military information and cyber systems.
- ✓Post-degree education in CIS security and cyber defense disciplines, such as CISSP, GIAC Security Expert, or CISM.
- ✓Post-degree hands-on experience in architecture drafting, preferably using NATO Architectural Framework (NAF) or similar standards like TOGAF.
- ✓Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and executing workshops for various stakeholders including governmental agencies, academia, and industry.
